Fleurieu Peninsula Drilling
This picture was taken while we were setting up to drill a ground water monitoring well in a beautiful garden near McLaren Flat. The monitoring well installation was part of a Super Science Project carried out in South Australia by Flinders University. We drilled a total of 27 monitoring wells used to gather data on the influence of local creeks on the shallow aquifer system.
We were very careful not to damage the garden. The Drilling Rig is carefully parked on boards so we didn't leave tyre marks on the freshly mowed lawn.
We have been involved with many submersible pump projects in the McLaren Vale and Fleurieu Peninsula region, including replacement of steel pump column, rectifying ongoing pump system faults and the installation and replacement of submersible pumps.
Picture of a new water bore and submersible pump installation for a new composting project near Brinkley. The bore replaced an old windmill and is the only source of water for the site.
We spent months at the Angus Zinc Mine near Strathalbyn, in the Adelaide Hills, firstly grouting the drill holes used for exploration, then supplying and installing Grundfos submersible pumps and installing groundwater monitoring wells.
